Between 1969 and 1972 Luther "Luke" Elrod practiced Criminal Defense in the Jag Corps of the United States Army at a General Court-Martial Jurisdiction Headquarters TASCOM in Worms, Germany. From 1973 through 1978, he practiced law - a General Practice - mostly involving criminal law and personal injury with Attorney John Bolt Culbertson in Greenville, South Carolina.
From 1978 through 1979 Luke had a General Practice with John Bolt Culbertson in Rock Hill, South Carolina - primarily dealing with Workers' Compensation claims, wreck cases and other tort cases. From 1979 through early 1980, he worked with the law firm of Attorneys McDonald and Cox in Greenville, South Carolina - a General Practice.
Luke relocated to Rock Hill, South Carolina in May 1980 and started an individual practice of The Elrod Law Firm. Since that time he has practiced personal injury law and workers' compensation law.
